Dear Friends,

Once again the Sisters of Life will be hosting Life Fest, a celebration of life on July 4 at Villa Maria Guadalupe Retreat Center in Stamford - http://sistersoflife.org/archive

The day begins with arrival at 1:00pm. There will be picnic games, Eucharistic Adoration, Confessions, talks for men, women, teenagers and children, Mass, a barbeque dinner, bands and much more!

The Sisters are looking for Co-Workers of Life to participate and assist at this great event which last year drew 500+ people. If you are interested, please contact Sr. Mary Karen at 203-329-1492 or email LifeFest2010@sistersoflife.org

1) Prep Team: Come on July 3 to setup chairs, tables, iron, etc. from 1:00-4:00pm.

2) Grill Team: We're looking for a few good men! No experience necessary. You will have the opportunity to flip burgers, sausage and chicken for 1,000-2,000 people. You must have strong wrists and be able to withstand the fire! Meeting time at Villa to be determined. You are welcome to bring your favorite meat.

3) Kitchen Crew: Work miracles multiplying loaves, buns and watermelon! Meet at Villa Maria Guadalupe at 11:00 am on July 4.

4) Sound and stage crew: Always wanted to be near the big stars? This might be your chance! Knowing which wire to put where is a plus as is a strong back. Meet at Villa Maria Guadalupe at 11:00 am on July 4.

5) Ice Cream Scoopers: Desire to be popular while making the multitudes happy? Come take a turn scooping ice cream! Heavy on the sprinkles! Meet at Villa Maria Guadalupe at 1:00 pm on July 4.

6) Drink Extreme Team: "I thirst." Come and help satiate the thirst of Christ in your neighbor. Great job for teenage boys who wish to save the backs of Sisters of Life! Meet at Villa Maria Guadalupe at 11:00 am on July 4.

7) Welcome Crew / Traffic Flow: Help us host our guests and direct them to the various events. Meet at Villa Maria Guadalupe at 11:00 am on July 4.

8) Clean-up Team: Looking to really bring in the graces? Do you love to close a party? Stay on top of emptying the trash bins during the day and help move tables, etc. at the end of the day. Just let a Sister of Life know you are here to help when you arrive on July 4.

We are looking forward to this life-changing event and to spending time with all of our friends and Co-Workers. You are most welcome to invite your family, friends and others. Confession and Eucharistic Adoration will be offered all day. All the Sisters of Life will be there. See you on July 4!

In Christ,

Sr. Mary Karen
